New Feature: Enhanced Visualization of Sites and Areas

We’ve introduced a powerful new visualization feature that allows users to assign customizable colors to sites and areas. This enhancement makes it easier than ever to quickly interpret, identify, and distinguish between different activities or statuses at a glance.

With flexible color settings, you can create meaningful visual cues—whether highlighting high-priority areas, differentiating operations, or grouping related sites. The new color-coding system improves clarity, reduces visual clutter, and helps users navigate with confidence.

Camera Motion & Analytical Event Capture

Enhanced Video NVR Integration Supporting Camera Motion & Analytics

The Commercial Video NVR Integration has been expanded. This integration provides a unified dashboard for both security and video systems, offering live and playback viewing, including Video Verification of related intrusion and access control activity.

Now, you can create Virtual Zones to represent cameras for logging Motion & Analytical Activity, such as vehicle or person detection. Event Rules may be configured to capture snapshots from cameras for Archive Reporting and Real-Time Notifications.

Additionally, NVR Health Status can now be received and logged for improved system monitoring.

Compatible NVRs for this service are: ExacqVision, OpenEye, Digital Watchdog Spectrum, Hanwha Wisenet, EyeQ Monitoring, and Avigilon Alta (Ava Security).

Recent Usability Improvements

Customer Management Portal

Additional Event Detail in Reports: Reports now include additional detail, including playback from connected NVRs at the exact time of the event. Previously, additional detail was limited to only the most recent activity.
Report PDF Attachment: Emailed reports will now always include a PDF attachment, regardless of the number of events.
Custom Badge Barcode & More Template Options: The number of available custom badge templates has increased from 7 to 11. Additionally, custom barcodes—generated from any custom field value—can now be added to badges in UPC-A, Code 39, or QR formats.
Single Sign-On Authentication Methods: Authentication methods can now be customized to comply with the requirements of the Identity Provider.

Dealer Administrative Portal & System Updates

Upgrade Service Levels: You can now upgrade service levels without canceling and reactivating the account—saving time while enabling additional recurring revenue through seamless upgrades.
Move System to a New Site: Systems can now be moved to a new Site, simplifying the process when a System needs to be ungrouped from others at its current location. Additionally, tools are available to move a Site to a different Customer and to merge Customer accounts.
Emerson Temperature Controllers: Controllers to monitor temperatures in hundreds of degrees are now compatible with the Barix Network Gateway using the Modbus protocol. Current temperatures are viewed in Connect ONE, may be logged for historical reporting, and individual alarm thresholds may be programmed for notification.
DMP Firmware Version 255 Support: The hostname transmission method is fully supported win Connect ONE. You no longer need to program a backup path when using a hostname since failover is automatic via DNS.
TIP: Check the Configuration page for the Device as it includes recommended programming for the particular product and firmware version.

The Connect ONE Wallet Card Solution enables your access card on your mobile device. Now, you can use your Apple Wallet & Google Wallet to gain access to your doors, just like you use your mobile Wallet for everyday transactions. Users will now be able to forget the hassle of physical badges and simply hold their Phone to a Wavelynx reader to gain access. There are no apps, no need to unlock the device, and will continue to work for a period of time if the phone battery is low.

Works with Any Access System | Connect ONE may be used for provisioning management of the wallet card and simply transfer the associated card number into any access system of your choice!
